Fish Feeding in Nuvali's artificial Lake

Just some 20 minute ride from my house is Nuvali. Yet for some reason, I wasn't able to see the place...until now. Hanging out one lazy Saturday afternoon with my great friends Ava and MC, they agreed to take me to see the place. We drove down SLEX and took the Sta. Rosa Exit. They weren't really that excited for as they say, there really is nothing much to see. Well, that being said, I still insisted. I wanted to satisfy my curiosity! :)

Nuvali Fish Feeding Area
As we were nearing Nuvali, I can't help but reminisce those crazy taping days we had during the production of Star Magic Presents Abt Ur Luv, where we taped most of the scenes in the many houses inside Avida. It was nostalgic.

And then we were there...

The man-made lake is the imposing landmark in the whole area. With families and group of friends hanging out, feeding the fishes and making their way for a short water taxi trip. Anyone can feed the fish and just buy a P15 per pack of feeds while the taxi boat is priced at P30/head. You can also rent a bike for P60 per hour.

Now craving for food, we all decided to just find something to eat at Paseo de Sta. Rosa which is practically a few blocks from Nuvali.

So was my curiosity been satisfied? With its family friendly design, Nuvali for sure is one great place to spend some relaxing afternoon or taking on a morning stroll, but I think it isn't really much of a 'destination' per se (as I would have expected). Seems like the place was really meant for neighbouring high end Sta. Rosa subdivisions. Nevertheless, it's a good place to drop by when going to and from Tagaytay.
